“Emma”, a new song I’m exploring

Inspired by the photograph above I took of a young Singaporean lady ascending a mysterious stairway to the unknown, I set out to explore a new musical landscape that is a bit more pop than I’ve allowed myself in the past. The vocals on the track are royalty-free samples from BandLab. Most of my compositional effort was on blending the 3 very different vocal lines together in an organic way. I think the hypnotic bass line and lush strings throughout were the key to achieving that.
